About me…

Hi. I am Heather Ellis. It’s lovely to meet you.

I love my friends, family, education, reading, writing, film, tv and blogging.

I have a keen interest in journalism and writing short stories, with three books under my belt.

I am not your typical author though.

A lot of people spend many years trying to write books. Born in 2003, I am very lucky in that I have self published three wonderful children’s books on Amazon called ‘The Sugary Sherburts’, ‘The Sugary Sherburts and The Stone Witch’ and ‘Rosie and Camilla’s Candyland Adventure’. They are available on Kindle and in paperback format. The books are aimed at ages 8-12 – If you want to find out more about my books, please click ‘About Me’ and see the menu shortcuts.

My main influences are authors such as Roald Dahl, Daniel Handler, Jeff Kinney and David Walliams and I spend most of my time on this blog writing about many things, I am open to suggestions. =)

I live in North Yorkshire in the United Kingdom with my mum and dad.

Thanks for reading. Hopefully I will see you around.

Oh, my gosh! Someone who is around my age is writing books! So cool! I love the fact that you’ve already gotten a book or two out there! That is amazing. Sometime we will have to do a blog hop.

Don’t know how to do a blog hop but will happily do a blog hop with you! Do you have a web-site which shows you how to blog hop?
